It’s my third day in Texas and my friend’s GPS sucks — we’ve dubbed her “Linda” and she’s said “recalcuting route” one million times. But we made it (of course) back to the festival after a detour and a shuttle bus ride — just in time for my meeting at the Dell Dome….
Granted I missed the last two years of Coachella (before that I had a 7 year run!) but compared to the years I went to Coachella technology has come a long way. I mean “live blogging” has been happening for a lil while now, but things like the Dell Dome where you can get your hair did (lots of girls were walking around with Amy Winehouse do’s), make tshirts, watch bands get interviewed, etc overwhelmed my poor sun-drenched brain…
And the AT&T Digital Oasis where you can charge your phone for free! It gets put in a little locker and you get a number to pick it up later. Sweeet — esp for me who can’t stop texting people things like: “mason jennings ummn harmonica yes please.”
