The Online Hip-Hop Awards 2008, the premier awards event that empowers you to voice your choice for your Hip-Hop favorites in 30 categories, including artists, music, videos, community and best of the web!
The Ballot
There are 30 categories in the Online Hip-Hop Awards 2008. The categories are broken down into three sections for your ease:
* Music
* Web
* Fan/Community.
You may nominate in as many categories as you wish once every twenty-four (24) hour period. Only consider those nominees who have made an impact between Sep 15, 2007 and Sep 15, 2008.

SCHEDULE
Nomination period:
9/15/08 – 10/14/08: Online fans submit their nominations in 30 categories.
Finalist voting period:
10/15/08 – 10/31/08: Online fans vote for finalists in each category.
Award show & broadcast:
Nov 2008: Winners are announced along with performances by hip-hop’s hottest stars.
Post show/OHHA Year-In-Review: 11/26-12/24
NOMINATION AND VOTING RULES
Users must register to nominate/vote. Once registered, users can nominate their favorites in 30 categories by using the OHHA nomination widgets or going to http://www.onlinehiphopawards.com/. Nominations will start on Sept. 15th and end on Oct. 14th. Users can nominate once per award category per 24-hour period.
Nominees with the highest amounts of nominations will qualify as finalists. Finalists will be announced on Oct. 15th and voting will continue through to Oct 31st. Users can vote once per award category per 24-hour period.
Remember, all these peeps contribute to hip hop culture and the music industry. It’s only right to pay your respects.
