When I pulled up to Club House Jager on Saturday night I didn’t know what to expect but I was thrilled when I saw a boombox holding the front door open with DJ Buck K.A.C.’s (RSE Radio) live cassette tape mix booming out of the speakers. As I walked in it only got better! There were various boomboxes placed through out the bar all tuned into the radio show. The night was filled with classic hip-hop/funk tracks and one DJ, Overproof for putting on an amazing event and to all the DJs in the house, King Otto, Buck K.A.C., Espada, Mike the 2600 King and the man behind it all Rambo Salinas. It was truly mind-blowing to see all the DJs break it down with tapes! Be on the look for another all cassettes DJ mix party.
