The Raveonettes are keeping in touch with technology, as well as every human’s divine lust for free tunes. It is said that four separate EPs will drop before the end of 2008, put out by Vice, and the first one is hitting the inter-waves today. It is a remix EP of songs from Lust, Lust, Lust, that can be downloaded here for free.
The other EPs will unmask a sound that is not so familiar with The Raveonettes, but one that has been an undertone in their music. Sometimes They Drop By, coming Sep 23rd, will explore more electronic influences in the Danish duo’s arsenal. The other EPs drop Oct 21st and Novemeber 25th, each giving new twists on The Raveonette’s already established sound. Then, one more Christmas EP of Christmas songs done in a modern way. This will be a jolly, digital season for The Raveonettes.
