Madlib’s latest release, WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip, will be dropped by Barely Breaking Even in the fall of 2008. Apparently Madlib will stray from his world rhythms and return to a more west-coast, hip-hop/R&B vibe. Like usual, many guests fill the slots in this closing to BBE’s Beat Generation series, which J Dilla opened them with. In their eyes, for a guy that is compared to the late Dilla so much, it’s only natural to close with Madlib.
