Here’s 10 minutes of wild camera, creamy guitar solos and as always, Camp Bisco’s very up-for-it massive. Every year laws of time and space seem to manage to keep us from making all but the last night of Camp Bisco and yet, despite our late arrival, we’re always rewarded with a surprise, killer performance from somebody on the final night. Last year it was Girl Talk. This year it was the Disco Biscuits themselves, who are doing a fine job of keeping a certain kind of tradition alive. Thank God for electric guitars, and familiar hills and bands that play extra hard in pouring rain (like the DBs did this year) through the occasional inevitable technical difficulty, in pursuit of the groove. Simple as that. Here’s to next year’s Bisco and the years after that.
