Dedicated joggers who are utterly bored with their latest iTunes soundtrack need to fret no longer. DJ/Producer A-Trak has tagged-team with Nike to launch his latest record Running Man: Nike + Original for the religious runners, and hip-hop heads, of course. Set to release on Jun 24, A-Trak is heading the fourth installment of the Nike series, boasting an eclectic mix of electro/hip-hop.
“Making a 45-minute piece was interesting in terms of arrangement,” he says. “Here, a guy is running and it’s all about pacing. You want to keep him in the zone, you want to keep his attention, but at the same time there’s much more room to spread out than on a record I might produce for a club.”
This too cool compilation should have folks hitting the concrete in no time.
