Who says leaking isn’t good for the Music Industry? Without tracks from Nas’s upcoming album, N*gger, roaming free on the internet, he probably wouldn’t have made the decision to push its release date from sometime in Apr until Jul….wait, what?
While pushing back an album that is being leaked makes little sense (its reasoning probably rests with marketing responsibilities- like its album title doesn’t draw enough attention), Nas had to at least hook us up with “Be A N*gger Too,” to calm the 42% of us who get music legally.
The track touches on a lot of sensitive subjects, which obviously behooves Nas to bring them bluntly to the foreground. Enjoy.
