Coming out in clad army ensembles, the twenty two year duo, V&A set the stage with an emerald gem theme and a light extravaganza, along with the beauty and simultaneous vocals of backup singers, the Gazelles. With glitter, shimmer, and sparkle all over the stage as well as all over Andy, the audience is in for one hell of a show. Partaking in the enthusiastic presence of Andy is the aloof likeness of Vince trying not to get to into it on the keyboards, but a smirk is all you need from him when Andy has the crowd jumping
and clapping to hit singles like ‘A Little Respect’ and ‘Sucker for Love.’ Aside from the classic singles being performed, the duo gives us material from their most recent album Light at the End of the World, and with seamless cross cutting techniques, the swirling lights and the ballerina turns of Andy are the tool that pulls the viewer
straight into the Royal Albert Hall. With a bonus short film of Vince and Andy, peeks
are given of the studio and synthesizers used to record the new album, as well as a look into the glamorous wardrobe and life of what is and what is not Andy Bell. Fans identify their love and praise for the duo in the short film, and ‘oh l’amour’ to the duo and from the duo is what is seen and given in the entire performance.
