As we mentioned earlier, when we think of India ink we visualize Warhol’s Pre-Pop nervous line drawings of cats, cherubs and of course, shoes. Here’s Kristina from PF Flyers/New Balance demoing NB Japan’s latest export, the “Seamless” collection, which uses a single-piece upper (white is leather, black is hemp) upon which the traditional seam lines are actually painted, in India ink.
