Wale is doing big things. Seems like every week there’s new news, collaborations, projects, video shoots, mixtapes, career advancements, (let me breathe like this is hard), news, collaborations, projects…First up, is his appearance in The Roots’ “Rising Up” video. On the set, ?uestlove was enthused enough about Wale’s new mixtape to post this on Okayplayer and according to Wale’s management, he was listening to the song (called “Nigger”) for “about 45 minutes straight.”
Secondly, is this video from Current TV/URB homie Danny Lee, in which Wale tours LA and explains the music that deaf people make:
Then there are these photos….who’d win in the fight for Wale’s affection, Crime Mob’s Diamond or Hollyhood’s Lindsay Lohan?

And, finally, the reason we’re all here: the music. Wale’s release a pair of gems that continue to raise his bar, expectations and hype. Check “The Bomb” (which is actually a Southeast Slim song, courtesy of Cocaine Blunts) and “Conclusion” (from his upcoming mixtape about nothing, courtesy of prettymuchamazing). Look for that new mixtape to drop in May.
