The term “fashion wars” has just been given a new (and very unfortunate) meaning. A fourteen-year-old reported that he was assaulted in Manhattan by Tony Yayo, Lowell Fletcher (an employee of Yayo) and two other men for wearing a Czar Entertainment t-shirt- Czar Entertainment being a management company that represents The Game. The boy and his mother are suing 50 Cent, Universal Music Group, Interscope Records, G-Unit Records and Shady Records for the assault because they “encourage artists to pursue violent, criminal lifestyles.” The term “wow” is about the only one that can really be used for something like this. Are things really getting to such a point? Let’s desperately hope not.
