Typically, rounding up a few rappers in the same building usually ends in some sort of fisticuffs, let alone 80 rappers in the building. Well looks KRS One defied those odds. During Grammy weekend in LA, The Blast Masta himself connected with about a billion rappers (okay about 80), to record a new anthem for the Stop the Violence Movement. Over the three day period, a huge number of emcees all dropped by the Los Angeles Recording School to lay down some vocals. The list of contributors include The Game, Weezy, Busta, Snoop, David Banner, and 50 Cent. Even former KRS nemesis Nelly was down to lay a little something. Fellow URB scribe Morgan Wells was on hand to document the monumental event.
See, rappers aren’t really all that bad.
