It’s been more than a minute since we had some new Miss Kittin music to talk about. Missingtoof is reporting on the imminently release of a new full-length, Bat Box, and has MP3s of the first single, “Kittin is High” along with remixes by Norwegian producer Black Labelle and East London’s JoJo De Freq. There’s also a new b-side track, “Barefoot Tonight.”
It’s all classic Kittin, with “Kittin is High” pairing her well known vocal tone with some 16th-note bass and ethereal backing vox that are part shoegazer, part trance. The remixes are more usual European techno for ‘08 while “Barefoot Tonight” will take you right back to 2002 when stealthy electro
