It went unheralded when released last year, but Chicago trio Sidewalk Skolaz worked out plenty of local jazz samples and diverse rhymes on their golden era-inspired Science is Good album. The disc didn't gather much publicity, but undaunted MC G Spot, producer Beat Daddy Fish and DJ Angry Skinny are working on a follow up disc for next year. in the meantime, they’re giving away the Science right now.
The full disc is available for free download through the group's MySpace page or you can grab it direct right here. Fans of Native Tounges and their ilk should appreciate the free beats from this corner of the Chicago hip hop scene.
