Ah, Billy Corgan’s done it once again. Never one to shy away from controversy, word leaked yesterday afternoon that the Smashing Pumpkins comeback album Zeitgeist will be released in FOUR different versions, with mega-chains Target, Best Buy and iTunes each getting a unique bonus track. Of course, all a tech-savvy Pumpkinite has to do is search Hype Machine in three weeks to get all the extras, but it still puts a bitter taste to the Pumpkins first record in seven years. No word yet on which copy James Iha is expected to pick up. Corporate tracklists after the jump.
