Even if you buy this release for one of the housier alternates, listen to the stunning original of ‘On My Own’ so you can appreciate where the remixers got their inspiration. All three remixes thankfully stay true to the original, highlighting the sultry vocals with deeper tones that carry the song’s inherent jazzy elements. Kudos to Soulstar on this stellar selection.
