Dntel pumps out free track

Dntel Promo3 Brian Tamborello Dntel pumps out free track

Jimmy Tamborello keeps plenty busy releasing albums as Dntel, James Figurine and of course as the bleepy half of The Postal Service. Somehow with all that work he’s got going, there’s still plenty of leftovers, and he wants to give them away to you via his Web site.

In a news post he promises to try to add one unfinished or unreleased track each month, starting with an unused instrumental from the making of his most recent album Dumb Luck. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but at this price who’s complaining.

Snag the free track here and read the full message from Mr. Tamborello below.

hellllo. i want to try and start posting new, unfinished or unreleased tracks up in the AUDIO section that you can download, hopefully one track per month. as i add new songs i'll probably take down the older stuff so DOWNLOAD WHILE YOU CAN. OR ELSE
For May i just put up an unfinished instrumental that i worked on while making Dumb Luck. It didn't end up working out but listening back to it now i like some things about it, so here it is. It's based around me messing around on this old pump organ i bought that was barely in working order. I ended up giving up on it and selling it for $50.
Most of the stuff i put up here won't be totally finished and definitely won't be mastered so it might sound a little weird. You'll probably have to turn it up a little extra. but it's free :)
