It seems no one wants to follow the tragic news of Disco D and its understandable. In our little universe, it's a big loss and what an outpouring we've witnessed since the news broke, from a beautiful posting by URB editor Joshua Glazer to heartbreaking comments like writer Morgan Wells' remembrances. In the wake of all this, a follow-up can go either way: try to tie in some broad commentary on manic depression and the music industry's responsibility to their artists' health OR…dumb, mindless fun! Since dumb fun tends to be my involuntary specialty, I took on the role this morning of finding the dumbest, most useless bit of information I could find on this here Web. I think I've done my job…
Ladies and Microbacteria…the TRANSFORMERS IPOD (docking station). Yes, this is OPTIMUS PRIME dressed in his Sunday whites with a trailer that acts as a speaker! And he actually transforms! Isn't that brainless?!?! There was only 1 website that carried this news and it looks like it's actually a Japanese rumor and/or phony. I couldn't find any confirmation from Apple that this exists or is in the works, but then again, they keep their shit on lock until it's time to blow our minds. So for now…enjoy yourselves again.
